Bad Girls

There are bad girls and there are the girls of the jail of Larkhall. This series was created in 1999 by Ann Mac Manus,Eleein Gallagher and Maureen Chadwick. This TV show didn't have a really big succes because of the subject. But some people who really work in a prison says that this TV show was the most realist TV show on this subject.

The story: we follow lives of the condemned but also their guards.The series highlights the difficulties of life in a prison for women. She does not hesitate to address a number of controversial topics such as the fact that the British authorities continue to use male guards in women's wings or the trauma of separation from their children even if the children were born in the jail. There are a lot of conflicts between the womens and the guards. When you begin to wath this TV show, it's a little bit hard because you can not attach to the characters because they leave or they die, commit suicide ...

The series was filmed in a real prison so it makes things even more realistic. I chose to talk about this TV show because this really great and that makes me understand the real life for these womens who are in prison.
